SHOPEE boosts online selling, ENSTAK-DTI partnership, STI ES


Davao-based Shopee sellers Shiela Reyes-Lao and Lou Putian prove that anyone can start and succeed in online business.

In a recent face-to-face event held by Shopee, both sellers shared how easy it was to join and grow their businesses on the platform, even in the face of economic uncertainty.

Tip number one is for business to just go online and digitize operations.

Putian said in just two months after creating an account and learning how to market her products through Shopee, her sales greatly increased.

Lao, who joined Shopee in 2017 , said her sales grew 7x since her leap to e-commerce.

Tip number two is to maximize Shopee’s convenience, seller tools, and nationwide logistics network

Shopee offers tools like insights and marketing solutions to help sellers further their business growth and visibility.Shopee’s continuous logistics expansion nationwide also allows sellers to reach more customers.

Enstack , DTI  empower MSMEs to go digital

Southeast Asia’s first SME Superapp, Enstack said it will be working together with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) through the Negosyo Centers to develop programs that will boost the digitization of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the country.

Enstack will be providing MSMEs with free mentorship and digital skills training, including education on its SME Superapp.

“By merging DTI’s local expertise and Enstack’s digital tools, we hope to equip these MSMEs with all the free resources they need to grow sustainably,” said Macy Castillo, co-founder and CEO of Enstack.

Through the Negosyo Centers, Enstack will be holding events on how to start, run and grow a business using the Enstack SME Superapp.  MSMEs will learn how day-to-day processes such as basic accounting, order and inventory management, and logistics .

Enstack will also host caravans  in different cities.
