ECo Global, together with Digital Pilipinas, participated in the 5th Indonesia FinTech Summit and Expo (IFSE) 2023 held at The Kasablanka Hall, Jakarta, last November 23-24, 2023, with the goal of supporting the advancement of FinTech in Indonesia.
The 5th IFSE 2023 organizers gathered speakers from the FinTech industry and discussed about enhancing financial inclusion through digital transformation, responsible and trustworthy use of AI in the financial services sector, and enabling digital public infrastructure to accelerate FinTech innovations and achieve wider reach. It was also highlighted that the FinTech role in amplifying Government-To-Person Initiatives has been significant and a key to future advancement through collaboration, innovation, and impact.
ECo Global continued the promotion of its digital platform ECOSLAi in IFSE to advocate local economic development by digitalizing rural banks, cooperatives, and microfinance institutions. ECOSLAi was touted as a progressive platform that uses agency banking, the power of AI and customer intimacy to provide access to true financial inclusion so that no one is left behind. Customers will also have self service capabilities through mobile, internet and social media to give them a true “big bank” experience.
It was ECo Global’s first time in Indonesia and being the only participating company from outside Indonesia, it made the event truly ASEAN, and opened several doors for business opportunities. The summit was an avenue to know more about the Indonesia FinTech landscape and to learn about the Indonesian financial institutions as a potential market. ECo Global received the warmest welcome from IFSE and received an outpouring of support from the many participants who visited the booth. This is a big boost and a validation that ECo Global is indeed going in the right direction with ECOSLAi.
