Eastern Europe has in the last decades been a hub for tech startups, Hungary has been no exception. Recognizing that the country’s tech industry has much technology to share and insight to impart to the rest of the world, wholly state-owned Neumann Non-Proffit LTD launched the Neumann Technology Platform. A research and development entity, Neumann is dedicated to digital transformation through a multi-faceted approach that includes technology transfer, and even influencing public policy.
Last December 5-6, 2023 in Budapest, Hungary, the digital transformation enabler signed a technology transfer agreement with Digital Pilipinas, through Hungary’s Ministry for Economic Development Szablocs Szolnoki, CEO of Neumann Technology Platform Balázs Szentgyörgyi, and also the CEO at HEPA Hungarian Export Promotion Agency Gabor Jenei. The technology transfer agreement should further fuel innovation across ASEAN.
Digital Pilipinas, the largest private sector-led movement for creating an innovation and technology ecosystem in the country, that is actively engaged in a global digital economy through its domestic and international trajectories, was represented at the signing by Digital Pilipinas Convenor Amor Maclang.
